What is everyone's favorite fighting game? Mine is probably BlazBlue: Central Fiction, with Super Smash Bros. Ultimate coming in a close second (I like them for different reasons). Of course, I have a soft spot for Street Fighter II (in various forms) and some of the games I remember from arcade days.
If you play SSBU, who do you main? My mains are Zelda and Palutena (with relatively equal frequency).
And if you play BB: CF, who do you main? Mine are Yayoi and Izayoi, both low tier characters that I still enjoy very much.

I'm sure this would change based on my mood, but at the moment I'd have to go with BlockStorm, only because being able to create my own maps makes it so much more fun. I just wish I had more time to create all the maps I want to.

When I saw fighting games, I assumed Ray had posted this.
But when I was a kid, I liked the Smackdown vs. Raw games for some reason. Haven’t played much more than that. Unless Prince of Persia counts.

I love the beat-'em-up style games too. Who can forget Golden Axe or Streets of Rage? Not to mention some of the newer ones that I'm in love with, like Code of Princess.

I've stated this before, but for those not already aware my primary experience with fighting games is mainly Tekken 3 for the PS1 and Soul Calibur III for the PS2 (especially liked the latter as it had a custom character creator, the first one in that series). I probably want to revisit those kinda games sometimes as I've been replaying PS2 era stuff lately. Oh, and I also played the original Smash Bros. on the neighbour kid's N64 back in the day. I liked playing Samus the most.
In terms of Beat-'Em-Ups it was Double Dragon 2 and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2 for the NES, which I played together with my brother in co-op when I was like five. More recently I really really enjoyed Castle Crashers, originally got it for the PS3 and later re-bought it on Steam (Also: If anyone is interested in that game and wants to do co-op online, I and probably Mathonwy as well would welcome it, especially as it's kinda tough with less than 3 people), and will probably also get either the PS4 or Switch version when those arrive. Cause I'm a sucker.
PS: Did anyone know that Negan from the Walking Dead is a playable fighter in the new Tekken 7?

I definitely want to play Castle Crashers again sometime, Leon!
