Hi, I'm leveller / Leveller / Jason. I'm a PhD student in philosophy. I focus on social and political philosophy, philosophy of law, and ethics. I am sometimes interested in epistemology. I avoid metaphysics, but have opinions on it (largely chosen on aesthetic grounds). More specifically, I'm primarily interested in punishment (boo), political authority (boo), rights theory (yay), and virtue ethics (yay). I'm going to try to really robustly get into metaethics this summer.
Some opinions I have include Aristotelianism, libertarianism, anarchism, penal abolitionism, some sort of relational egalitarianism, and phenomenal conservatism.
