I’m Fabien, one of the moderators and founding members. I mostly say dumb things, except about Plato, about whom I say only true and wise things. I also sometimes say true things about philosophy of biology, philosophical methodology, and so on, but I’m never certain when I say true things or false things because knowledge is hard.
My favourite philosophers include Plato, Lucretius, Francis Bacon, Friedrich Nietzsche, John Dewey, Michael Dummett, and Bas van Fraassen.
Professionally, I mostly work on Plato and philosophical methodology. I have yet to publish on either of those (stay tuned!), but am in the midst of two sizeable projects. I will be developing one of these projects to earn a PhD under the supervision of Francisco Gonzalez at the University of Ottawa starting September 2019.
I didn’t put a lot of thought into this introduction, so ask if you want to know more. But really, why would you? I’m not exciting.
