Anyone have any game recommendations?
I bought the lego game bundle on humble bundle recently hoping the cuteness would help, but so far no such luck. I tend to like strategy games like They Are Billions and Majesty 2, but I'm down for pretty much any type of game.

I don't have much to recommend because I'm mostly a console gamer. I like fighting games because of the skill involved and the fact that you can play them for 10 minutes or 3 hours just as easily. Deponia is a point-and-click adventure series that I heard some good reviews of, so if you're looking for something not so much skill based but more about thinking and making choices, that could be something. Braid is a puzzle-platformer that you might enjoy as well. Cat Quest is a cute game I heard about. Caveat: I haven't played any of these games, just heard good things about them.

Yeah, I like the real time strategy, plus the graphics are good. I'm not too picky with how a game looks, but there is a point where it will bug me. I also like how intuitive it is, it's easy to figure out how to play on my own. No need to go google or watch game plays to figure out how to do things. It's also challenging without being too frustrating.
I think part of it too is that there's a creative aspect, building my own town and such. It's very minimal, but I like games with that aspect, and the more the better.
With other kinds of games, like shooters, I like when there's variety and an open world for exploring, with a storyline. When it's pretty much just shooting and not much going on, it can get boring quick.

Ok so some suggestions
Grey goo for a rts
You also might like rimworld since you like building stuff and it's a sandbox game (it is more of a survival game)
Have you played mass effect? It's an amazing series
Prey has a great story and it's mostly not a shooter tho it is mostly linear
Far cry new dawn has a decent plot, is open world, and is a shooter

If you're looking for cutesy stuff, might I recommend Slime Rancher? Also I haven't played a lot of RTS games (weirdly; that sorta genre is actually right up my alley), but I guess somewhat related would be Grand Strategy, of which I'd heartily recommend Crusader Kings 2. Put like at least 40 hours in it. It's fun to work up from a small Duchy to a Kingdom or an Empire (I say whilst being an Anarchist 😛).

Stellaris is also pretty fun if you think you'd like doing that stuff in space

If you're looking for cutesy stuff, might I recommend Slime Rancher? Man it's cutsey but it's still really hard for me to set up the chicken farm to have the one slimes murder them.
